The two best diabolos I have tried are the G2 Finesse diabolo which
is made by Mister Babache and the Circus Diabolo which is made by Henrys both
diabolos cost between around $40. Both diabolo are great but choosing between
the two is a matter of personal preference. I personally like the Finesse
because they are easy to clean and Mister Babache made a light kit that screws
inside the cup of the finesse diabolo which looks very cool at night. Other then
the attachments the finesse has, the main difference between the two is the weight
the G2 Finesse weights 8.6 oz (245 g) and the Circus weights 10.6 oz (300 g) and
the new G3 Finesse (which I have not tried yet) weights 9.14 ounces (259 g).
If you can not afford ether of those two diabolos and don’t want
to save your money (which I recommend you do) I have tried the Beach Diabolo
and it is not too bad for a cheap diabolo.
I have seen Many fire diabolo like the Nesbitt, Invinsa, or the Comet Fire Diabolo but
they all cost a lot and they are made of metal (hence they dent if you drop them) so I have
never use a fire diabolo that was not homemade. When I made my fire diabolo it only cost me
about $50 if you where to buy one it would cost $60-$120 so as you can see I saved money by
making my own fire diabolo. I get asked a lot what string I use, I use Kevlar diabolo string
which can be found at many juggling stores on the web. Below I have photos and a video of my homemade
fire diabolo and the Ingredients for it. Remember fire diabolos are awesome but can be dangerous so
use fire diabolos responsibly.
Ingredients to make a homemade fire diabolo
1 Diabolo (almost any diabolo will work but I like the Finesse)
